I'm just asking for some help with my own library organization here. I know I have a number of sequels to classics written by authors other than the original -- Usher's Passing by Robert McCammon is a novel written as a sequel to "The Fall of the House of Usher," for instance, and Night of the Triffids is a Simon Clark sequel spun off Day of the Triffids. I'm just hoping people can think of a few more titles like these to get my brain running so I can tag more of my books correctly...

Apparently, "The Time Machine" by H.G. Wells had a slew of those.

Of course, countless variations on Dracula and Frankenstein.

Several SF authors have continued the Foundation/Robot works of Asimov:

*Reaching for the low hanging fruit*. Scarlett by Alexandra Ripley was the commercial product sequel to Margaret Mitchell's Gone With the Wind.

There's an immense catalog of Conan material written decades after Robert E. Howard's suicide, by authors like Robert Jordan, L. Sprague de Camp, and Lin Carter.

And, of course, all the HPL spinoffs.
