The family opened gifts early again, so here's my swag:

Deadpool, PS3 (stocking)
Pokemon Alpha Sapphire, 3DS
Super Mario Maker, Wii U
Hellsing Ultimate, entire series
Ripley's Believe It or Not, used as a "trojan horse" for a $50 Barnes and Noble card
A new hoodie (because I always seem to be short of those)

So far I've gotten a cold.

My parents and brother better be happy with charity giving, 'cause that's the main thing I got them.

Nothing, but I'm supposed to get my share of the B Fest hotel room comped by my parents as my Nonspecific Winter Observance present and it's likely that I'll wind up with an Amazon gift card or some more cash as well.

-Ducktales and Rescue Ranger NES video games to play on my Retro Duo Portable, a handheld device that plays both NES and SNES carts.

-Treasure Hunter G English ROM on cart for SNES (This was the last SquareSoft RPG released for the SNES in Japan, before they moved over to the Playstation. It never came to America, but it received a fan English translation, which was placed on a reproduction cart that can be played on any American Super Nintendo system, or in my case, my Retro Duo Portable.)

-Song of the Sea on DVD (a wonderful animated film from Ireland)

-Song of the Sea storybook imported from Ireland (Its a Song of the Sea Christmas!)

-$200 gift card to Telecharge to use on Broadway tickets for an upcoming theater trip

-$100 in movie passes

-$300 cash

-Two very nice shirts

-A pair of jeans

-A new stocking cap for winter that matches a coat I recently bought

-A collection book of my new favorite comic strip, Phoebe and Her Unicorn

-A paid off reservation for the new Mario 3DS RPG - Mario and Luigi: Paper Jam, which I can pick up on January 22nd.

So yeah, can't really complain. :)

A flood. https://scontent-ord1-1.xx.fbcdn.net/hp ... e=5721F2E3

A computer infected with malware, and another that we couldn't recover the password.

Also we got to spend most of the evening planning a family vacation that it's clear isn't gonna work.

On the plus side I got a couple of Blu Rays...

Some new clothes made up a portion of my gifts for Christmas, but the bulk of my gifts were Amazon gift cards. But now I'm faced with the same situation I have every year with these... I'm paralyzed with indecision. I don't want to "waste" the cards on frivilous stuff (like DVDs, books, etc), but that's what makes up most of my Amazon wish list. Is owning a physical copy of Gymkata or Megaforce a necessity? Is buying a VHS copy of Plutonium Baby a smart allocation of funds?

Have you watched them recently, or is it more for the collecting aspect?

Yes to both within the last 18 months - two years, plus it means I can loan them to people and blow their minds.
